Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Srinagar - Check In & Shikara Ride
Once you reach Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed and then taken to your houseboat or hotel. After all arrangements are made, an experience of the “Shikara ride” on Dal Lake follows with this you will drift past the most impressive view of the bright Mughal Gardens, mountains and vibrant floating markets. This is a golden opportunity for the group to relax and enjoy the pleasure of staying in Kashmir together. Overnight stay on the houseboat or hotel.
Day 2: Local Sightseeing around Srinagar, Mughal Gardens, and Markets
Begin the day with the world-famous walks to the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar, namely Khuskee Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi where your tour group can take amazing photographs of the gardens together. Visit Shankaracharya Temple in the evening for a spectacular view of Srinagar. Then walk around local markets to get a range of traditional Kashmiri handicrafts, shawls, and souvenirs. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar to Sonamarg
(87 km / 2.5 hrs)
A sightseeing tour to Sonamarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” This picturesque town is beautiful with its trekking in snowy mountains and lush valleys. Group photographs can be taken here while relaxing in the scenic beauty of surrounding valleys. Either explore Thajiwas Glacier (optional pony rides are available) or take time to enjoy the views on the banks of Sindh River. Return back to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Srinagar to Gulmarg
(50 km / 1.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, one of the most serene places in Kashmir. Famous for its snow-capped peaks, Gulmarg offers thrilling activities for groups, such as the Gulmarg Gondola ride to Apharwat peak. Members of the group can have skiing or snowboarding in winters or a leisurely walk in the meadows of summers. Overnight stay at one of the Gulmarg hotels.
Day 5: Gulmarg to Pahalgam
(140 km / 4 hrs)
Pahalgam: Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this placid valley. The group will check in to their respective hotel rooms and then proceed for Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Both are ideal event places for group events, nature treks, and a picnic by the Lidder River. A pony ride or river rafting will be an optional adrenaline booster for the day. Overnight at Pahalgam.
Day 6 : Departure from Srinagar
On such a trip, after having breakfast, you are transferred to the Srinagar Airport for your onward journey. Taking back the sweet memories of the group trip to Kashmir.
